Chris Hewitt is the Global Head of Brand and Marketing Technology at Sun Life. In this role, he leads teams responsible for brand strategy, marketing technology, digital marketing, and creative services, working with marketing leaders across Sun Life’s Canada, U.S., Asia, and Asset Management business groups to support enterprise marketing initiatives.
Prior to this role, he joined Sun Life in 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer for Canada, where he focused on strengthening brand awareness and developing client acquisition and engagement strategies.
Before joining Sun Life, he spent more than a decade at one of Canada’s largest banks in senior marketing, product management, and digital strategy roles across Canada and the United States. He also has experience working with major loyalty and retail brands.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.
